With over 27 years of experience as a dual-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Steven P. Rider is a pre-eminent authority in property-centric wealth creation. As the head of the Tenfold Wealth Group, Steven has evolved the traditional accounting model into a multidisciplinary advisory ecosystem designed to help Australians scale their net worth “tenfold.”

A Legacy of Expertise

Steven’s career began in 1991, leading to the 1999 launch of Rider Business Consulting & Advisors which became Rider Accountants & Advisors. Over two decades, he scaled his practice to a team of 25, advising mid-tier Australian icons and government bodies, including NSW Lotteries, the Australian Crime Commission, Healthscope Hospitals Ltd, Air-Road Transport, Illinois Tool Works and Nomura Securities.

In 2004, inspired by the mechanics of rapid property accumulation, Steven transitioned from a corporate advisor to a specialist property strategist. Having bought and sold dozens of properties personally and achieved total debt freedom in 2019, he provides advice backed by real-world skin in the game.

The Tenfold Vision

Recognising that property success is a “finance journey with an asset attached,” Steven founded the Tenfold Wealth Group in 2025 to provide a seamless, 360-degree solution for sophisticated property investors. Under his leadership, the group integrates three core pillars:

  • Tenfold Wealth Accountants (formerly Rider Accountants & Advisors): A digital-first practice specialising in advanced tax structuring, Airbnb/short-term rental accounting, property accounting and SMSF management.

  • Tenfold Property Finance: A strategic investment property lending arm that moves beyond “interest rates” to focus on “debt architecture,” ensuring investors maintain the serviceability needed to scale from one property to a portfolio of ten.

  • Tenfold Property Advisory: An end-to-end property consultancy and buyers agency that guides investors through the “Seed to Harvest” framework—from initial blueprinting and buyer advocacy to equity release and portfolio optimisation.

Philosophy & Approach

Steven is a “54,000-hour accounting champion” who views a mortgage not as a burden, but as strategic capital. He is a Xero Champion and a pioneer of the “Digital Firm” model, allowing him to provide institutional-grade precision with boutique, personal care to clients across Australia.

His mission is simple: to move investors past the “ceiling” of their second property by implementing the same sophisticated entity structures and capital preservation frameworks used by the ultra-wealthy.

Steven Rider’s Qualifications

Steven has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s degree from UNSW in Professional Accounting.  He has formal qualifications in mortgage broking and real estate and is a member of the Property Institute of Australia (the professional body that registers property valuers).

Steven is a Chartered Accountant (in Public Practice), a Certified Practising Accountant  (in Public Practice), a Registered Tax Practitioner and a Justice of the Peace in NSW. He is a Xero Certified Advisor, Certified Mortgage Broker, a Real Estate Agent and Buyers Agent.

Beyond the Numbers

When he isn’t engineering wealth strategies, Steven is a Justice of the Peace and an enthusiast of life’s finer details—whether that’s a round of golf, a rare single malt whisky, or touring the coast on his Harley Davidson.
